- NIFT.
Trend Forum (Hall
No.18 Ground Floor) :
A special, focused area where trend interpretations for the
season come alive in form and feel. It will orchestrate exchange
of ideas & concepts and involve weavers and artisans at the grass-root level. The
Forum will enrich the textile industry and will set in motion the upgradation process of
design outputs to international standards.
Fabric Folio Pavilion (Hall
No.18 Mezzanine Floor) :
A Fabric - Index of the Fair displaying
innovative fabrics from
all over India. Executed by a reputed Fashion School of New
Delhi. This section
will take someone into the future to assess fabric looks, designs and techniques
likely to be in vogue in the year 2001 and beyond. In addition, it will offer a creative collection
of trimmings and embellishments in metal, plastic, fibre glass, stone, wood,
polyester and other materials.
Designers
Corner (Hall 18 - Ground Floor) :
A creative
presentation for the first items by Tex-Styles India made from
Indian fabrics by Designers of International repute. The
trends and the various interpretations will be carefully
evolved and integrated will special emphasis on applications
in the Indian context and suiting the capability of the
Textile Industry in India.
Style Show
(Hall No.18 Mezzanine Floor)
:
Original
in concept & different form these conventional Fashion
Shows. Interpretations of Trends in texture, colour and
Sale of the season in India and abroad, will be projected on
the ramp. Also special show on silks.
Audio Visual Presentation(Hall
No.18 Mezzanine Floor) :
Tex-Styles India 2001 will introduce a special feature by
The Wool Mark Company, through an Audio Visual presentation on
"Consumer of New Millennium and Trends in Apparels"
The unique collaborative project of ITPO and the Wool mark
company will enrich the knowledge and information base of all
concerned in the textile business in general and woollen
textiles in particular. The 15 minutes multi-media slide
show with a powerful mix and play on visuals, texts, graphics
and sound will be repeated on an hourly basis. This
would be followed by a visual and information presentation on
colour, fabrics and styling directions in Europe and other
countries for menswear, womenswear and knitwear for
Autumn-Winter 2001-2002. European experts will give
presentation on it.

Tex-Styles
India 2001 will feature among the otherwise vast range of textiles, some Specialised
Products; most of these items have been exclusively developed and will be launched at
Tex-Styles India 2001 for the first time.
